Assistive Devices Staff will help patrons with the operation of library equipment and will retrieve materials from the shelves. Magnifiers There are a variety of magnifiers for your use at the library. Most are hand-held and a few are stand-supported. New models are illuminated; both illuminated and non-illuminated magnifiers come in different sizes with different magnification levels. The Library also has a video magnifier than can magnify print up to 40 times called a Closed–Circuit Television (CCTV). Formats The library offers you a wide variety of materials in a number of formats: print, large print, audio and video cassette tapes and compact discs, for example. The Library Staff is committed to providing library service for all. Please do not hesitate to ask for assistance.  If you need assistance to make the fullest use of your library, please talk with the staff about how we might assist you to get the information and materials you need and/or to participate in library programs. To better serve you, the library offers a number of electronic aids, materials in special formats, and services for persons with disabilities.
